An inadequatetely described mineral that probably is both scapolite and nepheline. Schumacher (1801) named a greyish green mineral gabbronite, after the rock gabbro. He gave 2 localities for the mineral, both from a coarsegrained syenite in Friedrichsvärn (= Stavern), Norway and from Kenlig Mine (Kjenli) in Arendal, Norway. The former is possible nepheline and the later scapolite.
